Here's the opening two lines from the Wikipedia article:
"A Quality System (QMS) is a system that outlines the policies and procedures necessary to improve and control the various processes that will ultimately lead to improved business performance. One of their purposes is quality control in manufacturing."
It needs improvement. It uses 'system' to define a system. The second sentence makes little sense. I'm not sure what 'their' is referring to, and it contradicts the first sentence - a system that leads to improved business performance with a purpose of quality control in manufacturing? Convoluted at best. One size does not fit all. I think it needs to be more general for an opening explanation of a QMS, with quality control included as one of the tools that can be used.
But, like I said, I have not yet taken the time to rework it.
