Folks, when you want to attach something to a post, start off in the New Post or Edit Post window. You will see something like the attachment to this post.
First you have to click on the Manage Attachments link. A small window will pop up. IF you have popups disabled, this may affect the box - it may not 'pop up'.
Next, Browse to the file on your computer that you want to uppload.
Next, click Add This File. If the file you are attaching is a large one and you're on a dialup, there will be a wait while the file uploads. Bottom line is unless it is a very small file it is not 'instantaneous' - the file has to be uploaded to the server and that's what is happening.
Soon you should see the file name appear. When it appears, the upload to the server is complete.
Click Done. The file window will close. Save the post and that should be it.
