Hi yasseenbagban and Welcome to the Cove! :bigwave:

I really can't answer your question, because I am having difficulty understanding what you are asking for. Could you repost or edit your original post and take out the shortcuts? For example - this line Sorry, i don't know whr to post this Q? I assume to say Sorry, I don't know where to post this question? English is not the primary language of many of our users, and most of old timers do not read "chat speak". We would love to help or point you in the right direction!!:thanks:

Unless you want to limit the discussion to people with experience in the glass industry (maybe a handful only), it would help if you could list the major processes you want to address together with a brief description of how they consume and waste energy at present. You will get more inputs by doing so.

HI

The first step is to measure energy at different points - point of purchase, point of use. Measure how much of energy is used for manufacturing, utilities (compressed air, vacuum etc.) and accommodation (lighting, air conditioning, heating etc.). If you can measure energy consumption at the individual production line level it is fine for comparing your production lines and having an internal bench mark. By the way you have to convert all the energy into primary energy (GJ) for a start; if you have indices such as Kwh / ton of glass, cub.m of gas per hour etc. it does not help much (unless all the other parameters are the same for production lines that you compare). Once you have numbers, move around the factory and find out the wastes (heat outside the furnace, compressed air leak, machines working when the there is no job, inefficient motors, blowers etc.). If you do not have enough experience, it is better to call a consultant for help at least in your first cycle of improvement.

There are many sites available in the internet if you need check lists...just google

Hope the above helps.

With best regards,

Ramakrishnan
