Hi guys ,

EQA malaysia has to be stop, in my opinion there are tarnishing the good name of ISO they've been offering ISO 9001 certification and Consulting at the same time for RM 10,000. With the word "Guaranteed certification" mention all the time. their sales increases...

Anyway one of the client in nilai, has been issued 2 NCR (This client did not used EQA consultant) . 1 for not having objective and target for all section. and the other for implementation...

what interesting here is the one for objective and target...the company replied They have 1 objective and target that is achieving 75% of the customer satisfaction in 3 month time, the questionaire send to customer indicates question on quality, delivery and services. Top management has instructed every section to play their part on those 3. Thus it involves all section (mentioned management review)

Apparently the replied made EQA angry and call up the client saying they will failed them. Unless the client allowed them to come again and verify the NC replies. (Chargeable visit).

Weird C.B, told the client they are recommended for certification during closing meeting, then called up saying will failed them...

HOPE EQA in other country will just come down and pick any 1 of EQA malaysia and do a re-audit.. Protect EQA international name...

A 75% customer satisfaction rate is terrible.

Unfortunately, there are many companies willing to pay the fee to get registered, knowing there is not a system in place that actually serves the customer with Quality systems that work.

Companies that perform as these registration mills are a disgrace to what Quality is supposed to be: serving the customers by doing the best possible work from the start to finish.

Sadly, although we have one registrar in the USA that is like a standing joke among the experienced Quality folk, it seems that the organizations in the developing countries, which seem to be under more commercial pressure to get registered, have engendered a whole crop of registrars who don't follow the auditing guidelines.

There are countless posts throughout the Cove where quality practitioners rant about the fact that the folks who are supposed to oversee registrars seem to simply ignore, if not downright "whitewash," any complaints about nonethical behavior of auditors.

One or two instances could be put down to misunderstanding due to language barriers or "imprecise" wording. The sheer number of complaints which reach our Cove bespeaks many more that don't reach the Cove.

It seems to me obscene that customers continue to waste supplier's time and money forcing them to get "registered" to a Standard if a substantial number of the registrations are merely "paid for" and do not reflect true adherence to the Standard. No value is generated, except in the pockets of the unethical registrars.
