EQMS with integrated ERP/MRP?

Hello all. I was wondering if anybody knows of an eQMS platform that has integrated ERP/MRP modules, or that has successfully and easily paired with a third-party ERP/MRP platform.

We are currently using Cebos MQ1, which has everything from Customer and Supplier Management to Purchasing to Shipping, and everything in between, all under one program, and would like to replace it with something similar, just newer, and maybe cloud-based.

The ability to retain our current document numbering/naming convention and numbers is highly preferred, too.

What suggestions do you all have of platforms that might fit this bill?

Thanks all!

It's hard to find a one-size-fits-all sort of suite, though SAP Business Software | Analyst Reports (SAP) is a frontrunner. It also comes down to capital, as well, because the more robust the ERP/eQMS, then the more you will be paying out of pocket.

Currently we use QCBD, but there is no interface with our ERP, which is switching over to Dynamics365 shortly. QCBD does have SQL server ability, but that's far beyond my scope of comprehension. I am but a sad quality specialist trying to stop older workforce members from saving documents directly to their desktops. Still. In 2021 haha

Hopefully others may have some more cost-effective solutions!

UniPoint wasn't bad, either, from what I recall.

Yup, it's proving to be quite difficult. We've had this same platform for almost 20 years, so we're quite set in our ways, and much of our documentation and QMS structure is built around how this particular platform is organized. Since any change is already going to be hard, I'm trying to do damage control.

SAP is definitely a frontrunner, however it is expensive, and I've yet to hear anybody that has worked with it say anything positive about it, but it's still on the table.

UniPoint is on my list to look at (I saw it mentioned a few other places here on Elsmar), so I'll dig into that one a little bit.

Thanks!

A larger corporation I worked with as a consultant was implementing SAP. It was so costly, and the training for it was SO extensive and time-consuming, I couldn't help but wonder what the benefit was to having it at all! They were using an old system called Syteline that went down frequently, so I would definitely assume that having a more robust system would be a benefit regardless.

But I did like UniPoint when I worked on it. Training was easy to do and control electronically and - for the price - you really did get a lot of user-friendly interface with it! Hopefully some other folks here will have some light to shine, too. :)

I currently have Unipoint and it does not have an Open API with my ERP (ERP company recommended Unipoint for integration but it would always be one way). This is why we are looking for a new one.

ETQ and Assurx claim to have open API.

What wes your experience with Arena eQMS and how big the company was?

The PLM/DocControl side was fantastic, the QMS side was good. Little clunky and of course could always use refinement, but to be expected. Company was 50ish employees with a complicated product with 250ish components in finished device. Integration with expandable worked perfectly.
