cncmarine - Let's cite the known facts in addition to 'opinion'
cncmarine,
I'm not sure what you mean by "...Why give them anything...", but I think it goes back to ethics and personal beliefs. In some cases it may also be a 'whistle blower' relief valve. My *personal* opinion is what have you got to hide and why???

In a recent thread, there were several responses which addressed a basic, non-informational response you gave. The best response to your minimalistic post I saw was "...It's less what you say rather than how you say it..." or words to that effect.
In short, it's easy to make a blanket opinion such as "...Why give them anything...". It something entirely different when you add some facts and / or other information (or recounting an experience you had) to back up your opinion. As an outright 'blanket' opinion not backed up by evidence, your response is worth Ziltch.
I hope that in the future you will provide some backup information and detail rather that simply stating an opinion and teling everyone you are "...just a good manager...". We're interested in information which back up our opinions - Not blanket "...this is stupid..." and "...I know it all..." statements.
My impression at this point is you have a lot of opinions with no data (such as recountng a presonal experience) to back them up, other than, as you said in one thread, that you're a
'good manager' (which in its self is an opinion not backed up by verifiable evidence). As to others, their opinion is you have some sort of 'chip' on your shoulder and come to this forum to 'relieve' yourself.
Hopefully, in the future you will present facts to bolster your opinions / statements.
