%EV in Bias Study

Hi to all the experts and professionals in Elsmar, my name is Hazwan.
I would like to kindly ask a question in the hope that the experts here can help me.
I was reading the AIAG MSA book when i came across a paragraph that says continuing a bias study with a large %EV in measurement system will leads to confusing and misleading results.
I am aware that this %EV is referring to the %EV from a GRR study. Can i know how high of %EV is considered unacceptable?.

I only know that %GRR should not exceed 10% but how about %EV specifically....

Sincerely,
Hazwan

In the typical GRR study, there are no limits for %EV or %AV individually beyond the requirement that the sum of both is below 10% (ideally) or below 30% (under certain conditions). In a type 1 repeatability study, there is only %EV, so the 10% requirement would apply to %EV.
