Hi ISO Guy,

Your weekend seems pretty long.

Apart from Ak, no one else has suggested anything that is substantial - i am still at a loss. Wld appreciate an actual diagram/flow chart, etc. (besides the procedure, if possible) Thanks.

I personally think that everything posted in this topic was substantial. You just have to do the work. Generic Quality Plans, flowchart examples, are available all over the place, including the PTF files on this site. But, you have to craft your own specific to the industry you are associated with. It's a no brainer if you understand your process.

Hi Catherine,

Sorry if we seem unhelpful, but you have received some excellent suggestions here, and that is about all we can do. Any examples you find should only be used as general reference, becuase every company does things a little different. If you want an effective system that will really work, you have to tailor things to your methods and procedures. If you use someone elses system, or "canned" procedures, you will have a system that means nothing. I am sorry if I sound harsh, but all we can do is help guide you in the right direction. The leg work is all yours.

Lots of good information is available on this site, in both the forums and the pdf.files. Marc has done a wonderful job setting up a great place to interact with our peers.

Best of luck!

Hi Energy & CarolX,

Sorry, if i sound ungrateful or even rude. i understd that examples found shd only be used as a general ref, n that i hve to craft my own specifics. Info that i hve derived from this website and from Marc have been most helpful n informative (i hve never doubted that). i know that the leg work/hard work is all mine - but my only excuse is that i am quite new to the business n am trying very hard to grasp whatever i can lay my hands on, n then modify it to suit my org's needs.
Sorry to you too,ISO Guy if my tone wasn't right.

Catherine,

Not to worry....we have all been there at one time or another.

I agree that reviewing what others have done can be a tremendous help. Especially if you are new to this.

Good luck and keep coming back!

I think I know what you are asking for. I am sending you a copy our Quality Plan Matrix. Our auditor did ask for it at the first audit. He hasn't asked for it since! Maybe this will help. Energy is right, it's sort of like a flow of RFQ, Quote, etc and reference to relevant documents. If all your procedures, etc are in place, this shouldn't be a problem.

New focus on ISO2000 requires to plan the activities and improve key process, but I´m not sure if we have to make a plan per area and stablish objetives per area or just achieve to the quality objetives define by the Director. Does anybody can help me?

sorry if someting is wrong, but I do my best to write in English.
