Excel Automation - Printing Word Documents from within Excel

We at work have quite unique problem. We have 12 word docs out of which few (basic requirements) need to be printed for every job. Can anyone help to create excel sheet / or guide so that those word documents can be printed from excel itself and each having unique sequential number and date printed automatically. Example if we print docs And B on 29 Nov then on 30 Nov we print A and C then A should have next sequential number.

Permit to Work system in excel for Marine Offshore Industry.
