I've never heard anything about them - but there are so many registrars these days. How big are they?

Marc,

I do not think they are very big, but they have done registrations in our field. We are a little shy of getting involve with the bigger reigstrars, too afraid of becoming a little fish in their big pond. Thanks for the reply.

Rick,

Thanks for the info. They actually missed inclusion in the survey by two responses. I was able to review their results anyway, and they were very favorable. We have set-up an interview with them for early next month.

Thanks again

Carol,

According to the 1998 McGraw-Hill ISO 9000 Directory, Global was formerly Tri-Tech Services. Through 1998 they had registered 144 companies in the USA with the the highest SIC codes being 2700 (29), 5000 (21) and 3400 (18). The 1999 index states they added 4 reigistrations in the USA (SIC codes 2600, 2700, 3200 & 500).

Quality Digest magazine did a survey of registered companies recently to determine satisfaction with registrars. I believe I remember Global being in the survey. You may want to access the article at their website www.qualitydigest.com either the June or July 2000 issue.

Marc and Carol, :bigwave:

Thanks for the info. I'll check out both of these locals.

Carol I may be contacting you soon. I've been talking to Elmer Bennett at global and he seems like "real people" (as we say).
