Hello, I am currently trying to set up an FMEA for our company.
In this plant they are assembling doorsystems for public transport vehicles.
I listed all process steps, from part receiving to shipping, and now I am trying to determine the potential failure modes.
For the receiving and assembly proces I currently have the following failure modes:
Receiving and incoming inspection:
Parts are damaged.
Mis-labeled.
Missing label.
Wrong quantity.
Bad part passed inspection.
Parts are not according to specification.
Handling damage.
Placed in wrong location.
Assembling:
Part not mounted.
Wrong part mounted.
Part is not in accordance to specifiactions.
Handling damage.
Incorrect fasteners used.
Part is fitted to loose / over torque.
Step is not performed.
Wrong glue used.
Defects are not noticed.
These are the points I could think of.
What is your view on this, is this good, do I miss something or is this totally wrong?
Thanks in advance.
PS. Sorry for my bad English.
