Fiat will require ISO/TS16949

I've got INFO that Fiat will require suppliers to be certified by ISO/TS16949 from July 2000.
Does anyone have more INFO about this?
Any reply will be highly appresiated.

Yes, Fiat requires TS registration by July of this year.
