Fluke Multiproduct Calibrator

Hello Ma'am/Sirs,

Just wanna ask if a Fluke 5502A Multiproduct Calibrator has the capability for power calibration, which uses both Voltage and Current output at the same time.

Our past calibrator Fluke 5500A was used in the same manner and got disabled on the ampere port. It can't output current more than 200miliAmps after the incident.
Please advise if 5502A can do it without worries that the ampere ports will be disabled.

I am new to calibration and I need your advice. Thanks.

The 5502A is a cheaper, less accurate version of their 5522A calibrator. It is more robust that your old 5500A, with more protections and more output capability. It seems like the updated version of the 5500A.

Is the 5500A current output inoperative above 200 mA all the time, or just when you are attempting power (voltage and current) output?

Just a note: Take a look at the new 5540A/5550A/5560A calibrators too. As soon as the o'scope option is fully validated for drift and performance on those new models, the 5502a and 5522a will be discontinued.

Hello Sir, on the 5500A, even if individually used, all current output can't exceed 200mA...
As much as we would like to buy a higher version of the Fluke 5XXX series, the price is too heavy on the company... we had to make do with what we have...
