FMEA Third Edition - What are the changes from the Second Edition?

Help!! FMEA Third Edition

During my last surveillance audit, we were issued a "room for improvement" regarding the third edition changes to the FMEA. I have reviewed the book and our current FMEA. Can someone please explain to me what the major change was. I do not claim or aspire to be a FMEA genius but a little help for those of you who are would be great.

I am not a FMEA genius either.

As far as I remember, one of the changes was to classify the Current Controls based on whether they pertained to prediction or to detection.

Whether Revision level is required in FMEA'S if we make any changes ? Also whether prepared or approved signature is required in the FMEA? What is the meaning for key date? What are all the changes made in the 3rd edition DFMEA when compared to Second edition.
