Attached accdb example of a stability study.
The data were plotted and an upper 95% confidence interval was constructed about the regression line. A two-sided confidence limit.
[FONT="]If the confidence interval is ignored, the stability estimate is computed from the regression fit statistics (slope, Y-intercept) as:
(Allowable Drift Limit – Y-intercept)/Slope = Stability Estimate.
I would also like to answer a question. In Minitab to calculate the shelf life, use the quadratic equation.
