Ford Q1 procedures

Can any one of you tell me regarding the Q1 certification given by FORD to its suppliers and also the requirements or is there any formal procedure for it.

Requirements vary based on your commodity. For productin part suppliers the basic requirements are:

QS-9000 or 16949
ISO 14001
A Quality Operating System
Acceptable quality & delivery ratings
Letters of recommendation from your Ford customer sites

There is formal documentation, but someone has borrowed our last hard copy. You should be able to get everything from the Ford supplier website or your Ford buyer.
