Building an improvement process on designing our welding assembly lines, I think that the better way to achieve our target would be to use a FRACAS system. Do you agree with my choice? If so. FRACAS - Failure Reporting And Corrective Action System, correct? In automotive it's 8-D or Nonconformance and Corrective Action System. It's been a while since I've seen the FRACAS initials. Think it was military manufacturing some years ago.

There are quite a few software solutions or you can write your own database in Filemaker Pro or similar database.
