I *assume* you mean an internal audit checklist which is a comparison to the requirements of the standard (I have looked on the internet and there are places selling them for $75 or there abouts. I don't think anyone has shared one here yet.) seeing as no one knows your processes but you. AS9100D Internal Audit Process Checklists - See Post 5 in the discussion for some IAQG links. They should still be valid.

Also: ISO 19011 can help you.

I apologize, I thought that the discussion included an offer from Big Jim to share a checklist.
I did recheck prior to sending this message and it looks like he did make an offer to share with someone, them it looks like there are a few people that asked for a copy (Including me) I'll tell you, I haven't been posting on this site very long but I have checked it our many times and really appreciate that you SMEs are so willing to share your knowledge with some of us that are less knowledgeable. No need to apologize. Jim did offer. Problem is, a thread like this ends up to be all "Send to <whoever>" posts.

This is about someone wanting a free downloadable AS9100D audit checklist. I assume they want one that is editable, such as in Word of Excel. It's difficult for me to believe no one here has one they can share here. Then again, all a person really needs is a copy of the standard to make one. Granted it would take a few hours, but after that.

Actually, in my past I had checklists like this for gap analysis purposes (that is a checklist to audit to the requirements of a standard, not to processes). They're essentially the same thing.

This is not to crab at Big Jim - He does help out a lot here which we all appreciate. The problem is 99% of visitors take and don't give.

Both of your attachments may be useful. I think what I'll need to do is use a table that we put together that identifies the Standard's clauses and our procedures vs our processes (5 total) and modify the check sheet. I think I'll have one for each process. Big Jim also responded and he may be sending one that he has. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everybody's help!

@Kirby: Over the years, we have had numerous discussions over the pros and cons of checklists. Generic, high level, standard-based checklists are terrible tools in assisting auditors assessing if the unique aspects of the organization's processes are being fulfilled AND are effective. On the other hand, company-specific and process-targeted checklists are time consuming to develop and will always be time sensitive.

Internal auditing, as any other QMS activity, should always be risk-based thought out and selective development of checklists, combined with selective assignment of downstream people as internal auditors of an upstream process tends to generate some good audit depth and meaningful findings, in my experience.
