Mabuhay! (Hello)
I have already read a lot about discussions on Conformity versus Compliance.
However, I need help regarding your understanding between COMPLY and FULFILL.
In one of our most recent surveillance audit, the auditor pointed out the we may have difficulty with one of our objectives stated as
"COMPLY with applicable compliance obligations" when the standard, according to him, required only the "FULFILMENT" of compliance obligations (which was
what was actually stated in the standard as an intended outcome).
My understanding was that these statements both mean the same thing.
It seems that when the term "fulfilment" will be used, it does not necessarily mean 100% achievement for compliance is necessary but it is
enough to take action to address non compliance.
Thanks in advance for your help.
