Gage R&R Software

Does anyone have expierience using the Mitutoyo "MeasurLink"
calibration software?

It reads as if it contains all the "bells & whistles" - but how does it really work from a user's stanpoint??

Whats Good --- Whats Bad??

Comments welcome.

Guess not - possible that the software is either so new--- or so unwidely used --- That I should make sure not to purchase - until a full demo version proves to be what we think it is...

This was the first brochure that we have noticed it.. listed.
(and we have had Mititoyo equipment here since "way- back when")

The only "date" that can be viewed in the web-ad reads as I recall "compataible with? Compliant to? - AIAG - 1995" so it "could be 6 years" - or the gage R&R portion could be 6 months...

It "appears" to be similar to and interchangeable with our MRP Plus software.

Hey Jim,

I have the Calibration/Gage R & R software. It came bundled with the SPC Data Collection Programs.

I don't use it. WAY too complex for a small shop. We would double our calibration time just in record keeping alone. The program requires you to "move" the gage from active use to calibration before you can even record any data.

The little I remeber about the R&R software, it seemed pretty simple.

Tech support is fair, we never seemed to get through an install/upgrade without bugs that required patching.

I'll try to answer any other questions you might have.

Standard with just about every piece of software I have ever purchased. Even this new forums software - next week, I think, is the first 'bug fix' release for the 2.2.0 release I just went through. It will be, of course, release 2.2.1. MickeySoft likes to call their bug fix releases 'Service Packs' I believe.
