Hi all, I should clarify right out of the gate that I am new to MSAs and I have a few questions I would like to clarify before going to much furthur:
I see that the "typical" Gage R&R incorporates 2 or 3 appraisers. Ideally, I would like to run our R&R with 7 appraisers.
This would incorporate all 4 shift crews and the 3 lab techs. I would like to look at variation across the whole group of 7 as they are all responsible to perform the analysis and to the same standard. I would like to do this as 1 study as opposed to random subsets of 3.
Is using more than 3 appraisers a valid approach?
And if so - how to I determine my K2 value for 7 appraisers?
Thank-you for your help,
Erin
