Re: I need some information....

You mean at the top of forum pages here? The "Elsmar Cove Forum Visitor Notices" box? Click the red X to close the box.

As to pictures, I assume you're referring to the forum home page. They're still there. Or are there red Xs where the pictures are supposed to be?

Or are you referring to something else?

And is it only here or is it happening on other sites?

I'm pretty much a Firefox person using a Mac so I can't help much, but I have seen some Firefox add-ons cause that in the past when I was playing around with some.

Try a different browser than you usually use and see if it happens in both browsers.

It sure would be a lot easier to help if I had your machine in hand. I suspect it's probably a setting on your browser. In Foxfire, for example, in Options, there is a choice to load [or NOT load] images automatically when visiting web pages. It is a VERY useful option when working with slow connections and small RAM capacity, but mostly used by parents today to vex children surfing for porn - also useful in a work setting to avoid spying bosses.

It means that for some reason the image isn't loading. It can usually be overcome by closing the browser and reopening it or just refreshing the page where the problem is happening. Unless the browser has been deliberately set to block images, the problem usually on the server end.

I don't see that you list whether you are using Firefox or Internet Explorer. Are you using an old version?

First, try clearing your cookies/ temporary Internet Files and see if that works.

Did you make any changes at all? Did you add a Firewall program or anything?

Your Flash Player may be corrupt. Do you receive any prompts or warnings?

You may want to update your Java- http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

NOTE: If you do update your Java, be sure and delete the old versions/upgrades of Java.

If you come to this site, can you open up photo albums and view photos?

Brad, when I go to "Last 24 Hours" the image goes off the screen where is normally falls within the screen boundaries also the stuff at the upper Right corner with the information like Karma, Post Count, are in Red X and not visible

I normally use MSN as my Homepage and now when I open it up some of the areas where it normally has text and the little page turner icons on the news are now Red X

I know there is a button to push but where? Something changed on its own

I've attached an image of what I'm getting
