We have discussed in the past software for APQP and PPAP and Powerway in specific.
DCX mandated it and then GM.
It appears that it was not so good after all GN does not require the use in future.

Apart from Powerway does anyone care :bigwave:

heehee.. good.

I hate it when we are DEMANDED to use only this or that.

Don't get me wrong.. PW was a good product.. but oh my gosh.. I remember when they were practically working out of a garage in Indianapolis.

Sometimes we just get too big, and too successful for our own good.

I am not personally very familiar with Powerway, but, in every organization I have consulted with or audited that was using Powerway, I can not recall that any of them said anything nice about it.

I agree with this statement.

I received this internal memo a couple of days ago:

"I believe you were interested in the status of GM migrating to Powerway for their launches, while it was not addressed specifically during the training, we did sit at lunch with various other suppliers in attendance and learned that they were told by their GM SQE's that Powerway is not a priority at GM currently. Powerway is attempting to sell it's services to both Ford and GM but as of now we talked to no one who had encounted a program in Powerway with a GM or Ford launch."

Interesting;-))
