Help!!!

When I pull up the site I get a blank boxes with a small check box in the top left corner. I know it in my set-up.

I recently installed McaFee Suite and use Opera and IE for browsing.

Any ideas?????

same problem with BOTH browsers? I get this problem when I try to pull up attachments directly from the cove. If I cut and paste the link, no problem. I'm loaded with Norton, Microsoft, Spyware Blaster, etc. I think it's easier to find a workaround (I just save attachments to file, then look at them with no problem.)

Thanks,

I just uninstalled McAfee and it worked fine and yest the same problem was with both programs. At least I am closer to the root cause.

Haven't tried it for directions (yet) but I find the maps MUCH better than Mapquest or MSN....

Satelite photo of my house was so good, I had the wife convinced (for a few moments anyway) that it was real-time......:-)

Wish I could zoom in more though...would love to be able to wave hello to all of you (grin)

HOLY COW PATTIES BATMAN!!!!

The satellite photos are awesome, the detail is amazing. I can make out out my boat, I can make out my neighbors incredibly ugly orange grill cover (he is a Browns fan) and the scroll ability is incredible.

If you are interested in my ghetto (without providing scary stalkers informatio) try this address 16555 Pacific Coast Highway, Sunset Beach, CA 90742. This is the address to a hotel on PCH in the general vicinity of our abode. It is really neat to see the channel from the satellite photos. I live on it and no idea it was so big. I did not notice that no ships were at the Weapons Station when the photo from the eye in the sky was snapped. Hmmm..... There is always a boat there. Hmmm.... digital editing maybe.... Hmmm...

Have fun with it, this is awesome

Try 1000 Transylvania Drive, Sandersville Georgia, 31082 (not the right house number). I am on the same road, lakeside, to the right of that location.

The picture is not as good as most of the others I have seen. That's just as well, maybe it will stay off of the beaten path, at least a little.

So what is all that green stuff??? You have to excuse me I in Southern CA and we dont have that here.

Looks like you have a nice quiet place in teh middle of nowhere. I have been playing with Stadium pictures and famous landmarks and of course the required parent's houses, ex-girlfriends, old employers, etc. This is fun, I suppose I could kill a whole day, but at some point I need to get back to work. NAH!!! :lmao:

So far, the only thing I could suggest as an improvement (Continuing Improvement) would be to add the date of the aerial photo on the photo (maybe the same thing for the street map as well (revision control, Configuration Management.)

I notice aerial photo of my house is about 1 year old, but of my daughter's house in Texas is about 3 years old (personally known landmarks which appear or not in photos.)

It's a minor complaint, but surely something to consider before relying on the aerial photo or map for an important decision (streets now paved or not, road closed or not, buildings standing or not, etc.)

The date will probably never be published. There are reasons according to Sergy of Google. People do not want to be alarmed thinking that on such and such a date a satellite was focusing in on them. Plus it has a small national security factor, for instance, Naval Weapons Station by my ghetto, there is a revolving door of ships in and out of there, no schedule, no warning, nothing but a closed harbor. People of devious mind, may use this new information to do things that are deemed not nice to us good old Americans.

Sergy has a nice interview in Playboy a few months back and it was highly enlightening. Not that I would advocate reading of such material :agree1: however it is a great interview

Just some thoughts....

I'm glad they won't publish my date in the photos. Its none of their dadgum business who she is, anyway.

:lmao:
