Re: Graph indentification from minitab

Hello guys, appreciate and need help on the below :

Two ways:
1. If you are assuming that it is Normally distributed and want to verify go to:
Stat>Basic Statistics>Graphical Summary

Look at the left side panel under the "Andersson-Darling Normality Test"
Ho: Data is Normal
Ha: Data is not Normal,
check the p-value, usually 0.05 is the set cut-off. Below that it is taken as evidence of Non-normality.

2.
Go to Graph>>Prob Plot

Select the variable of interest and the hypothesized distribution using the "Distribution" Button.
Click on "OK" and check visually if plotted points follow the "ideal" line.
Objectively test the hypothesis:
Ho: Data is like the hypothesized distribution
Ha: Data is not like the hypothesized distribution

check the p-value, usually 0.05 is the set cut-off. Below that it is taken as evidence of Ha.
