During our management review, the owner of each COP, SOP and MOP reviewed th following items:
1. quality objectives;
2. human and other resources;
3. motivation program and the relevance and importance of the staff and workers;
4. continouous improvement;
5. recommendation for improvement.
But our auditor said that we did not review the effectiveness and efficiency of each process.
And so I need viewers' commments on this. Thanlks!

I'm not sure we have enought information here. . . what are the process measureables that were reviewed?? Did the output of the processes meet expected results? Are you looking at how the processes perform?

As far as efficiency goes, what are your targets and improvement plans for these processes?

Process Effectiveness in relationship to 4.1

I am planning the audit of this Tech Spec. I am having a difficult time relating it to our Plant Manager. Which then would relate to Process Effectiveness.

I need some help.

Thanks for your kind reply.
For process measureables, we only checked objectives. as to objectives we did check whether they achieved expected results or not, but we did not pay due attention on how each process performs.
As far as targets and improvement plans for the processes, we identified roughly the same kind of information.
But I still do not know how to make all these things into a report? I need information.

Effectiveness - Ability to achieve desired results.
Compare the process objectives with the resultant measurables.

Efficiency - Results achieved vs Resources used.
Compare the resultant measurables with resources used. If unfavorable, fix the resources. If favorable, evaluate the process to determine if improvemnent can be made.

Thank you. I understand what you said. But if there is such an example, that must be most appreciated.
