Re: Need help with unknown symbol
It's the German recycle Icon. The actual color is green, that's why we call it " Gruener Punkt". You can even see it on some Products shipped from the States to Germany. I've noticed that a few years back on some Laundry detergent that is being marketed in Germany also.
Germany has an extensive Recycling Plan. During my Childhood years, we were already into recycling Glass products, and even by Color ( seperated clear, brown and green). I was shocked when I came to the States that it had not made such an impact as overseas. But then who could argue the refund system especially in Michigan, so there was no need for a " Recycling system". Anything that cannot be recycled is frowned on. Germany's recycling program has gotten quit extensive over the years since I left there. My mom was shocked to hear from me that we are still allowed to use Bleach in the States. In Germany they can't has been banned now for a while.
So if you see the Arrow in a circle on a Product that you might use, you know it is approved to be used and the Container recyclable in Germany.
I can't identify the attach symbol. It doesn't appear anywhere in the ISO, EN, or FDA standards covering medical device symbols.
Any help would be great!
