Help with Drawing Review - ISO 9001:2015

Hello all,

I am hoping you can help me. We have a documented process to do drawing review and drawing change review and it is not working. Hoping someone has a better idea? We can go for 2 months and not have a single drawing, then we will have 100 to review. When it is for a brand new project, that is fine.
But when a customer sends over a drawing package that has changed, 9 times out of 10 it is for things that are minor or is no change that we need to do on our end. We do not have the time to "document" everyone the way we are doing. How does everyone else do it?
We receive and use classified drawings for the military, so we do not keep hard copies anywhere and the Cloud-Based "vault" we use, has no way to sign off or even note you reviewed.
Any Suggestions?

We do not have the time to "document" everyone the way we are doing.
It's a little difficult to address, we don't know how you currently ""document" everyone the way you are doing".
we do not keep hard copies anywhere and the Cloud-Based "vault" we use, has no way to sign off or even note you reviewed.
What's wrong with a review log (paper or electronic) - drawing ID & rev, reviewer name, date reviewed, sign off? Maybe also keep screenshots of just the drawing ID & rev lists (not sure that's allowed - I'm not from military background)?

How are you notified of the change/new drawing package? If you receive an email. Print the e-mail which the reviewer signs and can be scanned or maintained as a hard copy.

What's wrong with a review log (paper or electronic) - drawing ID & rev, reviewer name, date reviewed, sign off? Maybe also keep screenshots of just the drawing ID & rev lists (not sure that's allowed - I'm not from a military background)?

We receive them electronically, the person that receives them, puts them on our internal drive and sends an email for everyone to review. If there is a change that affects us, we do a full process review backward to suppliers and forwards to the production floor.
If there are no changes, the drawing is flowed to suppliers if affected and documented there, and the revision is changed in our software order entry system.

We were really looking for a way to avoid "paper" - we are struggling a lot to keep up, and there is a significant amount of redundancies - meaning the same process, but every customer wants it documented differently. There isn't enough of any group of things to hire another person ( we tried 3x times now) but too much for us. If I could find a good way to do an electronic log that would be helpful. We have just not found one entirely effect yet.

Save the e-mails as evidence of the review.

Who is "everyone?" How many people are mucking up your system?

What we do is get the print revision. Our engineering people take a look. If it's an non-significant change, we update the rev. level. Void out the old print and file/save the new print. If we have to change tooling or process, we send it thru our APQP process and usually discuss $ with the customer.
