High number of certificate suspensions in the IAQG OASIS database

I ran a search in OASIS earlier today (see search options below) and was surprised with the high number of entries in the Deleted / Withdrawn / Suspended / CB Withdrawn / Cancelled category.

In the last 6 months, 864 certificates were affected per the report. To me, it does show that the IAQG oversight is working and the stakeholders are being kept accountable to the expectation of certification integrity. Too bad the upcoming IAF database for certificates issued for the ISO Standards will not be as well thought out and advanced as the IAQG OASIS platform.

In the last 30 days, we had 141 certificates suspensions or withdrawals in OASIS, according to the numbers.

Once again, it seems to me that is evidence of oversight keeping CB's accountable.

Because there is no OASIS-like database for the ISO 9001 standard, nobody knows for sure how many and who are the organizations that get de-certified.

What a pain in the ass IATF is. I have little or no respect for the org and sent a cheeky reply to their article about zero findings.

..and yes we were one of those suspended because of our CB didn't pass the IAG standards...

I have been involved with a few '90' day certification suspension proceeds and I think the biggest issue with AS9100 businesses is the COTO and awareness clauses.
I am not really surprised that there is this many identified and I suspect as the year progresses and we start seeing the late transitions or second chancers coming through more will appear.
The standard is a big change for AS and as I go through it in a business I do see changes in cultures and it does make a difference when performed right.

OASIS lists 177 suspended/withdrawn certificates for the last month. All kinds of reasons listed. An interesting one reads:

Organization has disappeared and cannot be located. We are suspending now for investigation prior to certificate withdrawal.

Even cyber attacks now are being reported as the reason behind certificate suspensions in OASIS.
