I have a shaft dimension which is +-.015. I've been seeing issues with circularity on this dimension and and the suggested change was to add a form error(circularity of .015).
Wouldn't the status quo already have as strict a tolerance? To meet the basic dimension around the entire circle, form error must be less than .015. Also isn't dimensioning the part in this way actually making the tolerance less strict since the part could be +.013 and have a form error of .010?
