Hotels and Flights - Do you use a travel agent or do you book online?

As an independent, I now buy everything online. In the past, I had to use the commercial travel agent. I always found better prices, but still had to use them. Now, my rates are always lower, and my flights better...

I always book online, but switch between using an online travel agents website (I have my favourite), and booking directly with the airline depending on what works best for me.

In 2004, I booked a flight online with one of the internal Panamanian airlines, Aeroperlas. Their website at that time was pretty rudimentary, but I took the chance and when we showed up at the domestic airport in Panama City, Panama (and in David, Panama) everything worked perfectly.
