# How calculate P value for Linearity and Bias using Excel

Hi everybody,

I want to create the same report than minitab for linearity and bias study. As showed in picture attached.You could also find my excel file.

As you can see, I am blocked with calculation of P-value for biais and linearity.

Thank you Reynald, but unfortunately there is no P-value calculate in MSA 4rd edition or I didn't see it.
Is somebody know how to calculate these p-value for Biais and linearity ?

The linearity part is just using the regression analysis found in the Data Analysis Add-in

The bias part is just a one-sample t-test against the hypothesis that bias = 0.

Can you do this Excel?

Thank you so much Reynald and Statistical Seven.

I succed for linearity, but I am steel struggling with calculation of 4td column in the example you post Reynald. You could find attached the excel file where I re-do the example.

How can I calculate the 4td column (column I in my excel)

After I will get this value, I will calculate the p value with:
= Tdist( t , Count(count sample of each reference) -1)
Am I right ?

I did try to replicate the sample and was successful except for the average's mean std.
Let's wait for others help, meanwhile this might keep you going.

Try using the pooled standard deviation for the average row.
