How do you measure productivity? It's quite difficult.

Throughput yield is what we look at. We also use OEE measures.

We figure production for each machine by taking the tonnage per available hours (hours in the week minus (planned maintenance hours + # hours that material was available to run))

We measure it in Sales per FTE (Full-Time Equivilent)
