We're so small, EVERYONE of the office personnel (including the owner/president) is expected to be an internal auditor.

That's only 6 people.

We've had production personnel in the program before, and we will again shortly. The first time they "joined" they volunteered. We're not sure YET how they will be "picked" this summer. We're currently very light on people...

But since we're more focused on OUR needs and less on the ISO elements, its not as HARD as when we were auditing to 1994 with our last Quality manager.

(Will be upgraded to iso9k2k shortly).

First, we asked for volunteers, making sure to let everyone know that they would not receive any monetary compensation other that being paid for being here of course:rolleyes: and the fact that it looks good on the resume` for internal transfers and promotions. Then of course, we had some folks that got volunteered because of their positions (and their availability during day-time hours)

We used to look in the employee disciplinary log to find suitable auditors because they probably had a chip on their shoulder.:bonk:
