How many approved certifying (registration) bodys are there in the UK?

How many approved audit bodys in the UK?

Apart from BSI, LRQA, BVI etc, how many UKAS approved certifying bodys are there operating in the UK?

Around 10 years ago, I think it was about 40.

And any idea how many non approved bodys there are?

See you're still very active in this forum

The reason I'm interested is because I'm now in an organisation that tends to associate ISO9000 with BSI and use the terms inter changably. BSI are just one of many - but I don't know how many.
