Yep that pic is me but I don't have all that dumb hair anymore. I had it all cut off.

Crusader whats wrong with the hair ? It dosen't look too different from mine. The leathers look a little too white, ( I don't see any bug guts or dirt, oil, or other splats). Sounds like you have been riding quite a while. I like that so many women are riding their own bikes.

Umang I have been riding for over 37 years all my bones are in one piece, wrecked too many times to remember and I won't quit until I can't lift a leg high enough to stradle a bike. As Bon Jovi puts it " I'm a cowboy on a steel horse I ride wanted dead or alive...."

Hi there
Over her in the UK, owned and ridden motorbikes since I was 15, always had a bike, up to five at one time. Nearly owned all the makes, the only one not owned was a Harley, just way too expensive over here.
Up until last year, commuted to work on an Aprillia Pegaso, but on a 100 mile round trip every day, it was too expensive to run. I still own a 1963 Honda CB72, used for the occaisional commute, and a 400/4 Honda rebuild to keep me out of the house at weekends!
Favourite bike ever has to be the old 400/4 Honda, worse the XS750 Yamaha, most "interesting" Ducati Pantah 500.
Had my fair share of bumps and scrapes, but been in hospital more often from horses!

well - since I didn't get one for my 40th birthday I'll try again on my 45th when the kids are tad older...
There's an HD dealership within walking distance from my house and I often deam about the Buells (cruisers aren't my style).

I just heard that next WEDNESDAY, JULY 18 is the 16th annual (sorry - I had July 16 listed earlier) is "Ride to Work Day" in the US. The group sponsoring the day "advocates and supports the use of motorcycles and scooters for transportation, and provides information about transportation riding to the public."

So if you do have a motorcycle (I never have), yo might want to dust it off next Monday.

I can bet I am the only cover who rode on the bike once & had minor accident. I never tried to drive it again.
btw the same thing happend to my father as well.:notme:

I have owned a bike since I was 20 and was for a while a motorcycle only rider from March thru October (in Germany). Used to clock 10000 miles a year onto my bike. Now I live in CT (to much sprawl and to little open road), have a 2000 ZRX 1100 since 2003 (and put only 4500miles on, how sad is that?). I mostly ride to work and I ride because I can not afford a car with similar acceleration. Opening the throttle and going thru the gears just makes me smile. I am not speeding :notme:, but it's fun to get to 65 in 3 seconds :D.
