How many procedures are required by TS 16949:2002

Does anybody know how many procedures are required in TS 16949:2002. How many can be combined compared to the QS9000 System?
Any Info would help. Thanks in advance!

You need at least 7 items covered in procedures.
The 6 from ISO9001:2000 and training.

TS 16949 2nd Edition only requires 6: Control of Documents, Control or Records, Training, Control of Nonconformances, Internal Audits, Corrective Action and Preventive Action.

Corrective Action and Preventive Action are 2 subjects despite the gact that most people connect them.

See Clauses 4.2.3, 4.2.3, 6.2, 8.3, 8.2.2, 8.5.2 and 8.2.3. As you stated, corrective and preventive actions have been combined and accepted by the Registrar. Some companies hve combined document and record control also. As the saying goes, different strokes for different folks.

Having just gone through ISO9001:2000 with emphasis on TS16949 Internal Auditor Training, it was made clear that you can address the seven sections that require documentation in a single procedure if you so desire, it is up to you. Those combined with a linkage to your processes, quality poicy and objectives is essntially what make up the QMS (Quality management System)
