Here in southwestern central Indiana, we were just below the blizzard line. We got sleet and freezing rain instead - THEN got snow on top of that. Fortunately I can work at home. I could have made it into work Tuesday, but would not have made it home that night. Wednesday was an all-day love fest with my snow shovel - shovel some, rest some - shovel some more, rest some more. No interest in having a heart attack, thank you very much. Managed to clear a spot for my truck. Made it into Indy to work on Thursday, but took Friday off to have my sheep sheared, and boy are they mad at me! Not for losing their snuggly warm wool coats, but for being shut in the barn since then. It is supposed to warm up sufficiently today to let them back out into the sunshine.
Now to prepare for the flooding that all that melting snow will bring. Water wings anyone?

Winter comes as a perpetual surprise for them), but it has not reached us up here yet. I actually see blue sky between thin clouds.
