As far as I know, they go by imaging, learning and comparing in a defined area at a pretty fast rate and alert for an interface when image learnt and subsequent image read deviate. There is no measurement and hence no calibration.
You decide the input master image and run your production comparison.
Just follow the IQ as recommended by the manufacturer...
For calibration, the manufacturer of your AOI machine should come with a calibration plate and process that you follow. I'm not familiar with any others besides Orbotech/Orprovision.
As for IOPQ, that would depend on the installation, maintenance and yields. Or atlease that was how we did ours
