How to clean paint area tile faster and improve OEE

Hi guys !

I am working on reduction of cleaning tile of a paint area.

Current cleaning requires the ventilation to be running, as solvents or particles may be in the air during the cleaning.

But running the equipment means a lot of money. So I am trying to think of ways to reduce this cleaning time.

Any good idea that you could share ?

Have you considered using water based cleaners and a suitable grade of Scotchbrite?

Cleaners may be water based, but scraping the paint may release particles.

So I am thinking more in termes of "SMED like" cleaning and would like to know if some of you have good practice to share

Using an abrasive pad with a water based cleaning fluid will not release air borne particles. The released particles in suspension can be mopped up.
