Hi AgusH
Requirements for maintenance are in the close 7.5.1.4 in ISO TS.
ISO TS requires the identification of key manufacturing equipements.
For these equipements, the preventive maintenance system must include the description of preventive maintenance activities, the availability of spare parts, the evaluation of maintenance activities and the improuvement objectives.
The most common KPIs for maintenance I know in the automotive world are MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), I'm sure other covers could help you with other ideas.
Hope I could help

AgusH,

Instead of obtaining a procedure to impose on your organization, have you worked with your expert colleagues to understand what they already do to predict and prevent failure of essential items of equipment, utilities and facilities?

The resulting PM procedure would also be implemented except perhaps for the few improvements mutually agreed with your colleagues. And it is good to engage employees in the development of their management system.

Too many of us concoct the perfect procedure in our office without regard for the process that already exists. Then we discover our colleagues are offended by our lack of respect for their work!

Please forgive me if you've already done this.

Thanks for your advise, in that case of course I worked with my colleagues who understand and usually use ISO 9000 series but now my company need the TS and I am as maintenance engineer was engage to it.
So what common different between ISO 9000 series with ISO TS?

Hi AgusH
The differences between ISO 9001 and TS 16949 series are in the added requirements for automotive sector.
For maintenance, it states that you have to identifie the key equipements for your production process (It means you sould have a method to priotirize your equipements), put a preventive maintenance system that responds to the criterias mentionned in my precedent post, also you have to put in place predictive maintenance (a maintenance based on process measurement) for example, we had a measurement on a product that was related to a tool wear, we established an Xbar-R chart and one of the responses to the drift in the measurement was a tool maintenance.
Also from a systematic point of view, you have to add the notion of efficiency in your objectives
