How to Define and Document Controls of Outsourced Processes

Recently we got the first stage audit of Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) and few Nonconformances were given and one of them is - Define and document the Control over the outsourced processes such as pest control,Transportation,Maintenanace , Analytical and Calibration services.
Please suggest how shall i define and Document.Some examples ..

Somewhere within your QMS documentation have the following:
List out the various process outsourced.
For every such process:
1) Agency to whom outsourced
2) Appropriate controls identified and put in place (one or several of the following as applied and required by you to ensure process is in your control
a> A certified QMS
b> A service contract in force
c> Records of service provided per contract duly weted by the company
d> Traceability certificate for calibration service done
e> Your periodic visit and audit / third party audit on your behalf
f> Any other such control that you feel necessary to ensure process is in control.
g> Agency selection & evaluation records
h> Third party verification of service

This will help you or anyone else in your place to apply the same controls and be equally effective. In case you need to increase / decrease your control, justify and amend document for consistent application.

I just about mentioned to you the " Procedure " how to address outsourced process in your QMS documentation.
That is all that is required. That is your plan, defined and documented.
The rest is all about the DO (CONTROLLING) your outsourced process that way you have defined and documented.
You need not establish a documented procedure detailing what all you do in each of the outsourced process controls and interaction.
I am sorry if you are looking for some such documented procedure. It isn't necessary, and all these being your processes that are outsourced, anyone here will fall short of making one for you. It isn't typical.

I've not read the other posts so I hope Im not repeating anything here but the controls you use, need to be comensurate with the degree of control and importance of the outsourced service.

For example; if you get power from the grid system it may be very important to you but you exercise very little effective control over the supplier. Same thing with banks.

You might like to do a risk assessment of critically and control using a risk assessment matrix and only have controls for those processes over which you exercise substantial or significient control.
