One of our customers has requested us to mold parts for his labware as "DNA free". We would be molding the parts and giving it to the OEM, who will be responsible for subsequent gamma irradiation.
My question was,
1. Does molding in Clean room (ISO Class 8) and handling parts in a hygienic manner without direct contact ensure DNA free parts from our side ?
2. Does DNA free mean absence of bacteria and pyrogens ? If yes, sterilization will kill only bacteria - how to ensure freedom from pyrogens ?
