HI, everyboby,
I have a question to ask for you, I hope I can get some your suggestions. our product is Paver, compactor and excavator etc.

Recently my leader hopes that I can establish a internal quality control planning(only for quality dept.), I accept this, but i think over and over if i should establish this planning the main the main from the below aspects:
1.Identify personnel responsibly(Quality engineer, MRB, PDI, DI, SQE)
2 identify problem disposal process,
3.personnel communication ways etc.

Before I established quality planning and inspection and test plan in my previous company, but for internal quality control planning, i never do it.

so i want to get your suggestions or tell me how to do it.

thanks!
Terry.

Terry,

May I suggest analyzing the major parts of your QC Plan perhaps as follows:

  1. Resource and work environment planning
  2. Controlling data and information
  3. QC staff (competence and ongoing development)
  4. Inspection services
  5. Testing services (including lab environment)
  6. Calibration (including lab environment)
  7. Analyzing data and statistical techniques
  8. Controlling records and outgoing reports
  9. Dispositioning product nonconformities
  10. Stopping recurrence of QC nonconformity
  11. Training assembly workers to do QC

For each of these you need to determine:

  • When to verify
  • Verification method
  • Who must verify
  • What devices to use
  • What records to keep
  • Actions in the event of nonconformity

For the staff you are looking at competence (not conformity) in whatever they are responsible for including any verifications they must do and records they must keep.

You could also consider bringing the Quality Dept under its own management system conforming to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.

In any case be sure to continually improve your QC Plan.
