Not all the workmen have got the same competence neither are trained to perform the same tasks. Some of them can assembly a kind of instrument but not an other one and viceversa (or some of them can perform a particular step in the production line etc.).
I wondering how you manage that!
I've visited a factory where people have got some colored stickers on their badge. Every color has got a different meaning (e.g. the red one means the worker can assembly the X instruments etc.), in this way the manager could understand quickly if the operator is enabled to produce a particular instrument or can perform a particular step.
There are other smart ways to facilitate the management of the people in the work floor?
