Good Day All,

We are preparing our top management for an upcoming surveillance audit.
I know there should be some evidence of leadership commitment, evidence of provision of resources, evidence of commitment to continual improvement.

Could you share some other clues, on some areas that should as well be looked at too.

Thanks for sharing.

Regards.

Preparing your management? If they don't this stuff already as a normal part of what they do, you lose..."leadership commitment, evidence of provision of resources, evidence of commitment to continual improvement"

A good auditor will detect "preparation" in a heartbeat and you're going to end up playing "Where's Waldo?" and "Who's on 1st?"

They may be lacking confidence.

Ask them to think about what they already do daily to show their commitment to the requirements of their management system and customers to workers.

Take a look at the records of their last management review and examine how they reported to the employees on the performance of their management system, perhaps in terms of:

A. What it does well
B. What it does less than well
C. What they are doing about B above.

Good luck.

John

Yes Randy, Thank you so much for your feedback.
That is no problem. The top management does these on regular basis and management reviews are done also at least 2 times a year. Mid-year and end of the year. Action plans are well followed to ensure problems, issues, nonconformities, gaps are closed out.

So per your feedback I have confidence we should be on the right track.

Thanks so much.

Yeah, these are well in place especially the management reviews, the system's performances and the gaps.
We have action plans that are well followed to address issues identified too.

Thank you so much John. At least I can see we are doing some things right.

Regards.
