Hi abhay,

For the first part of your question, pls refer these threads -

Automotive OEM Score Card Templates

QMS Performance Trends

For the second part of the question -

a. You could do continuous improvements to make the objectives still better, or

b. Take on some other objectives.

Re: How to track Objectives and what do to after those have been met ?

Hi Abhay:

A core premise of ISO 9001 is continual improvement. Once you've met an objective(s), its time to develop new ones. These new objectives can be related to the same issue (e.g. reducing scap 10%, then 20% then 50%) or they can address a new issue in an unrelated business area. It should depend on what's important to the customer and to the business.

Keep in mind that your objectives should be both quantifiable and time based. For example, "Improving morale" is not a good objective. "Improving employee retention by 10% over the next year" would be more appropriate.

Hope this helps

Thanks to Ajit & Mark.
Actually I want some method which is useful to hold up the gain thru achieved objectives . For example if my production function achieved recovery % suppose 98% then that should be become base line. But this is not perfectly applicable for training hours . If training dept. achieved X hrs. target & top mgt wants that that X Hrs. are sufficient and manage it then how we can show certification body about continual improvement.

Abhay:

If I'm understanding this correctly, you've met this initial objective. Sustainability can then be achieved thru periodic monitoring and measurement, and corrective action as needed. As far as continuous improvement, are there other opportunities within the training function that can be addressed - how about improvements focusing on training delivery, effectiveness, feedback etc?

Dear Mark,
You are absolutely right that we have achieved initial objective. suppose In 1 st six month we achieved three objectives after that we decided 2 more objective , now In mgt. review meeting dept. taking about the progress of only new objective .
How can we make procedure or format so that we will know the status of all achieved objective
Waiting for your kind reply.

Hello, Abhay! :bigwave:I guess I may be lost here. Why so many objectives and measures? First, I'm kind of a 3-5 man. What about having three to five objectives for each area? Who is generating these objectives, and have you defined reasonable measures? What is the purpose of the objectives, and what are you planning on doing with the information? Who is interested in the objectives and who will be viewing the results?

As far as measuring and keeping track, I would suggest setting up control charts for your objectives. This can keep you on a path, and encourage exception report management.

Another approach is a dashboard presentation.
