I'm interested to know a lot about .
What kind of file ( I suppose an Excell file )
Is there some thing for sub-suppliers ?
Do we have to fill it up without sub-suppliers ?
Does the sub-suppliers have to buy the form also ? and sent it to us and we sent it to Ford ?
And also, why not a french version ??? ( I understand much better french than english  ) . Or am I allowed to dream ?
Regards
Mike
Hi,

the version I bought (~130$) had the Excel file on a included CD, so I can send it to suppliers if needed. As German, I don't understand if this is against the copy right :D

Cqi-9

Hello,

First comment, after my third party audit, the Q1 Site Assessment now I could fill out the next questionnaire with similar questions ( Does the Heat treater perform APQP -> Are we talking about Automotive Industry?)

But I would also ask some more in a Detail, after starting study the assessment.

Point 1.2 A feasibility study shall be performed -> What kind of study? For the Final Part ( in our case the heat treated parts are only a component), for the machine the process?

Point 1.5 Anbody already fully installed the CQI-9, within the 2 weeks periode?? AIAG needs a 5 weeks delivery time at the moment, this requirement is out of any normal business!!!

I will no go on with my studies and wondering about this document.

If i may ask an other question it will be :
How do you know if you have to fill the Excell file and send it back to your customer ?
I don't realy understand where is the limit when you only use 2 or 3 parts wich has been heat treated by a supplier .
Does my supplier have to fill up the file and then i sent it to FORD (my customer) ?
Best regards
Mike

If you deliver to Chrysler or Ford, take a look in their Customer Specifics (e.g Chrysler: This requirement shall also apply to heat treat suppliers to the organization pursuant to Clause 7.4.1.2 (supplier development clause).

So yes your supplier have to fill out the Assessment ( he will like it!! ), but I think he should have it available upon request for you to review not directly to Ford, put you must show evidence that you control your supplier.

Regards,

Tamara
