in case during a certification audit , the human resources officer has an accident a day before the audit and he can not return to the company before a month.

He is the sole person in the company who can answer auditor questions about human resources (CVs , trainings , evaluation,..).

The audit can be conducted at time ?
the certificate could be delivered to the company despite that clause 6.2 will not be audited ?

The problem is that the HR manager is the sole source of information. You need to correct that, because if no one can answer questions and provide evidence regarding training/competence evaluation, etc., you won't get the certificate. BTW, is your HR manager planning on having an accident the day before the audit?

The auditors are auditing the system, not the person. The system is in place whether the HR Officer is there or not. I agree with Jim. If the organization has information that only one person understands or can access, then there's a problem with the system. The auditors can't just ignore 6.2 - all requirements must be assessed to issue a certificate.

BTW, is your HR manager planning on having an accident the day before the audit?
I've seen many oddities auditees either scheduling vacations during the week of the external audits or being told by their line managers to do so. Some people who suffer from BMS (babble mouth syndrome) are an audit liability...:tg:

Libnani, the short answer is NO.

A certificate says that the CB has audited ALL mandatory applicable clauses and agreed that the organisation meets them. If the CB (auditor) hasn't covered all of them, it could not do this. End of story.

As others have said, the audit is of the system. If the 'system' cannot function in the absence of one person, it isn't a strong enough system.

A short-time work around may be that the CB agrees to come back and audit that part of the Standard (6.2) when your key person is back at work. In the meantime, you aren't certified. And the strong advice here is: fix the system so it works even in someone's absence and you aren't utterly dependent on one person! (That's not a 9001-level organisation, but one that can't function properly if someone is absent.)

If it is possible the auditor could call HR manager and ask him questions (interview) and MR maybe able to show documents/ records as per the guidance of HR manager.IF it is possible. Just a suggestion.

Your accident can indeed occur or can be pre-planned ... ;).
In any case can you (if the MR) or the MR demonstrate your procedure for the human resources, the competency determination, the gap analysis, the providing of such training or other means of bridging this gap and the effectiveness of the steps taken, (your records of all these will be required)
As said in threads above, an additional audit visit could happen at your cost and at the time available with the CB. Would your management approve this?
What if the HR office has an accident just before the new audit date .. ;) ..
Never tempt your CB to give you a ticket on clause 4 (Management have not provided adequate resources to effectively manage Human resources, ex: There was no responsible office to demonstrate the process and interactions of the human resources function). For one it could be a major and it could get the red eye of management on you ....... :mad:

Presumably 'management' is aware of the fact that they're entirely dependent on a single person in this case and that thus their system has a weakness which has now been exposed.

If they're not, they jolly well ought to be!

And thus the 'red eye' (does that mean something like "angry" to you? I don't follow - 'red eyes' in English usually are associated with having cried, or sniffed too many raw onions) of theirs should be directed at whoever is the 'top management' person who allowed this to occur and/or themselves.

If we linked the OP with another of her recent post, it seems she is the 'External Auditor' and not a member of the organization being audited.
