I suppose it was too good to last.

Our faces are no longer red, and last weekends summer temperatures are long gone. The weather really has turned quite disgusting: It's absolutely pouring down at the moment, and it has been snowing a few miles to the north of us. I have ventured outside a couple of times today, but no more. I'm heading for the couch, a blanket and a good book. I'll try to generally goof off this weekend. I'll need it, because next week will bring more WCOM training.

Apart from that I have been listening to Paul Potts, (The winner of the Britain's Got Talent competition) and good grief what a voice that bloke possesses: Absolutely brilliant! :applause:

It's almost the Summer Wikipedia reference-linkSolstice, none the less (June 22 if I remember correctly). Only one month to go before the cycle towards winter begins!

You're right, Marc, it is. You really know how to cheer a sun-starved Scandinavian up... ;)

Still, I'll be spending half of June, including the 22/6 on a small Greek island, and I have a feeling that it will be nice and warm there. Just what I need :D

Reading through some old imported blog posts and thought I'm bump this oldie since it will soon be winter solstice in the northern hemisphere.

Spent a couple of days in Oregon last week. Mid 50's and sunshine. And then I had to return to Michigan. The older I get, the harder it is to deal with the colder temps.
I have yet to get used to the hot, sticky summers in SC but have greater dislike of the weekly snow removal effort we left behind in Maine (four years ago this week).
